Royal Polaris Fishing Report

Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone; Weather continues to be excellent, with slightly overcast, sunny, flat seas, and warm. Our morning started out with a few fish caught in the dark, but once the sun came up, it was game on. We had excellent Yellowtail fishing again. Most of the fish were in the 18 to 25 pounds, with a few going over 30 pounds. It didn’t take long for us to get our daily limits.

Once that was over, we went looking for some Wahoo and Grouper action. We did manage to get 17 Grouper and 6 Wahoo.

Lucky angler today, Manuel Angulo, while fishing for Wahoo, we got a troll stop for a single fish, and Manuel caught 2 Wahoo on 2 cast. Now that’s getting them. Most of the Wahoo today were interested in the bombs, and yesterday and Alijos rocks, the Wahoo wanted the Iron and bait.

With a fun full day of fishing, we are now headed north, look offshore for some Dorado, then head north and try our luck at some Bluefin tuna. So until fingers and key board meet again, wish us luck.
