CATFISH

Anglers are reeling in sizeable cats on these warm summer nights! The bite this weekend was best during the morning hours and picked up again in the late afternoon.

If you are fishing during daylight hours, it is best to move your bait around as the catfish are stationary. However, once the sun has set over the damn, catfish will be grazing for food. Cut mackerel, chicken liver, and shrimp are the best baits.

BASS

Bass were biting at all hours of the day on Senkos. One angler said the black/blue flake Senko is doing the trick. Bass were reeled in along Hermit Cove shoreline and the campground shoreline.

PANFISH

The bluegill bite is best during the middle of the day on night crawlers. Find a shady spot to drop your line!
