A successful time of it this morning with fine action on 15 pound class yellowtail to get the catching portion of the voyage rolling. Not wishing to get too carried away on this grade of fish we opted for a couple of go around's before moving on to explore some of the more obscure folds of the Southern Baja seascape. A little variety, and a lot more small yellowtail that were released, occupied the morning before we chucked the towel and continued south in favor of long range glory. Sliding south in building conditions the lazy afternoon passed in leisure as tinkerer's fiddled with their gear, reader's set up camp in their favorite alcoves, and BS er's swapped yarns of exploits old and new. A few malt beverages washed down the whole thing down while night fell and the CAT's pushing our sweet ride drummed on. Morning promises a new location and plenty of action – we hope. At the end of our rope we're pinning it all on something, anything there ready to bite. Soon we'll know.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.

A few for the skiff guys, and a few on the long rods for the lucky handful are epic on the local scene; an absolute gift to be cherished and savored, but we have a yearning for a style of fishing with more substantive opportunity. Those big...... Read More
