One of the many things I have learned out here in the past thirty two years is that the ocean does not care. That formula has produced an incredible number of catches throughout my career in the face of seemingly impossible circumstances. And a few times, not many but definitely a few, we have failed. Not that I am courting disaster in this case; the relevant point is that when the odd, but inevitable, bomb out does occur we are all - anglers, crewmen, and Captain's alike - experienced enough to take it on the chin and stay standing.
