Royal Polaris Fishing Report

2-11-2016
Royal Polaris Crew

We didn’t waste much time looking for wahoo this morning as we saw no sign they were around. We even tried a quick drift fishing the bottom but found only a few small white fish and a couple of other types of bottom dwellers agreeable to biting. In all it was probably around an hour’s worth of effort and we were back on our way to points south.

Never the less, we were grateful for the travel break up and the quick chance of venting a little anticipation for which there is no shortage of on board. Weather continues to be perfect in every way as is the food and the company. We will travel again all day tomorrow and get down to business first thing Friday morning. Wish I could spin it more, but there is nothing else of importance I can think to say. You know the main reason you clicked on the reports was to read today’s poem any way!

POEM OF THE DAY

On the charter the reading club booked
Many fish were caught and cooked
They put a book out and waited
It wasn’t even baited
Once they read the first page fish were hooked.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

Not to be out done, Bob Ramirez also handed out a goodie bag of tackle which we have Hi Seas/American Fishing wire to thank for. Also contributing to future daily prizes will be Cal Star rods, Seeker rods, Tokar...... Read More

Larry from St. Louis here and it will be my pleasure to bring you the daily blow by blows of the annual 18 day Accurate charter. The man himself, Jack Nilsen, is safely stowed on board along with a small fortune worth of shiny platinum reels and matching rods to be handed out for the asking. Of the 22 passengers onboard, all but 2 or 3 are Accurate regulars which makes a great trip even more fun. The previous trip...... Read More
