TOMORROW!

Long before you wake up tomorrow we will finally be testing the waters and hopefully begin the enjoyable task of filling the holds with fresh fish. We can only hope that fishing is anywhere near the quality of our weather which as it has all trip, remains perfect. Frank held the last seminar this morning so obviously now, all of us know everything there is to know about wahoo and tuna fishing. But seriously… we are all prepared and most of us have done it all before but there is always more to learn no matter how many of these trips you’ve been on.

Jack has been giving away small prizes for the lucky anglers whose numbers are drawn ever since we left, and there are some serious prizes on the line once fish start coming over the rail. I’ll try to keep you informed who got what but he gives away so much I’ll likely forget a few people as the trip goes on. One thing we’ll all be shooting for is the reinstatement of a prize he used to always offer on Accurate trips, but was discontinued years ago.

He is bringing it back for this trip only: any angler lucky enough to catch the biggest tuna over 300lbs will win a choice of Accurate reels up to a 50 wide! Of course you have to catch it on an Accurate, but between his loaners and all the ones most of already own, if one was lucky enough to land such a giant, there’s a good chance they’ll qualify. That brings you up to date with happenings so far.

POEM OF THE DAY

She’s incredibly short but no matter
We were awfully glad we had her
This fireman’s not tall
But she’ll out fish us all
Just give her a hook and ladder.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

We didn’t waste much time looking for wahoo this morning as we saw no sign they were around. We even tried a quick drift fishing the bottom but found only a few small white fish and a couple of other types of bottom dwellers agreeable to biting. In all it was probably around an hour’s worth of effort and we were back on our way to points south. Never the less, we were grateful for the travel break up and...... Read More

Today the weather was only out done by the generosity of our host and a couple of regular passengers. Jack handed out Accurate T shirts for everyone followed by another T shirt give away courtesy of Greg Curry and Koi Marcucelli. Not to be out done, Bob Ramirez also handed out a goodie bag of tackle which we have Hi Seas/American Fishing wire to thank for. Also contributing to future daily prizes will be Cal Star rods, Seeker rods, Tokar...... Read More
