7/7/15 Mixed bag coastal action today featuring yellowfin tuna and good grade yellowtail. A full day at the rail with plenty of fishing, catching, and sightseeing fulfilled the objective prompting departure at dark. As so often occurs in long range fishing “what goes down must come up”. The miles north were not earned easy. But much to our delight it was better than expected. Setting ourselves up for a final couple days of offshore tuna action in forecast primo conditions, the stage is set for variety to round out our coastal catch. On the photo front I'm dissapointed to report that our handy camera, a veteran warrior of at least five years, has given up the ghost. Not being a tech wiz I admit the issue could be with the user. But the result, regardless the cause, is the same – no photos. A minor issue in the grand scheme we'll be back on track next voyage. The search continues.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.

No big hits, though we saw plenty, the effort produced a few fish and plenty of fun as everyone recoginized this as a bonus opportunity. Departing on our annual Phillips Steel five day adventure we are steaming south now in search of offshore action tomorrow. Some very promising leads and a great band of colleagues to partner......
