We dragged our feet a bit here this afternoon opting for a little local fishing to get our lines wet and mind's acclimated. No big hits, though we saw plenty, the effort produced a few fish and plenty of fun as everyone recoginized this as a bonus opportunity. Departing on our annual Phillips Steel five day adventure we are steaming south now in search of offshore action tomorrow. Some very promising leads and a great band of colleagues to partner with instill more than a little confidence in our ability to drum up something worthwhile. This is a great group of easy going anglers here to enjoy a break from the grind and do some real fishing. We'll see how the fishing side of the equation unfolds and report accordingly. There have definitely been some highs and lows offshore of late but there is no doubt about the tremendous potential around. Though not on the bite quite yet local the potential for huge offshore tuna action is already here. It will come in time - rest assured. In the present we are all in steaming for not too distant offshore grounds in search of anything and everything that wants to climb on board. Look for reports this voyage to continue through our return on the 10th. Tally ho.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
