** Next stocking on Tuesday, Feb. 20 **

Last trout stocking was on Tuesday night, Feb. 13. Fishing this past week has been wide open. We have had several anglers with double limits within a few hours. The bite has been excellent most of the day with a low during the mid afternoon. The best fishing spots have been next to the concession building to the point & down by the launch ramp. The boats have been the most successful, fishing by three pipes, and the bubble hole, in front of the dock & in the flats. Most all anglers had their limits plus from the boats. The best baits to use are chartreuse and rainbow power bait, pink, orange and chartreuse power worms, and night crawlers with scent.

• Leini Okamoto, 5yrs, from Carson on her first fishing trip ever caught a 4lb beauty using rainbow power bait in front of the dock.

Bass fisherman have been doing well down by the dam & in deep water. The bass are in a pre spawn. The average size has been 3 lb with anglers reporting at least 10 within the day. The blue and black pig-n-jigs and night crawlers have been working best working best. Bass are strictly catch & release.

Fly fishing has been awesome down in the flats & especially over by three pipes.?? Olive with a gold bead & the Zebra midges has been working best.
