Amigo A Go For Tonight
5-28-2015
Bill Cavanaugh - Amigo
Capt Bill Cavanaugh checked in from the Amigo out of Ventura Sportfishing with a trip update, we a go for tonight with a light load headed for the outer islands. The weather forecast for tomorrow is really nice, we have had some excellent shallow water rockfishing, and good Lingcod fishing to go with it. It seems as things are getting better, the Pacific Dawn got a really nice White Seabass and there have been a few Halibut caught. There has been a little bit of squid around and we are going to give the game fish an honest effort tomorrow. To sign up you can call the landing at 805-676-3476 or book online at www.venturasportfishing.com or www.amigosportfishing.com and get your spots. See you on the boat.

I think this is due to the south swell we just had and could have pushed the fish into deeper waters. ...... Read More
