Capt Bill Cavanaugh checed in from the Amigo to report that they did not connect with any Halibut today, the weather turned out to be better than reported and we were able to fish anywhere we wanted to. We looked at some very promising areas and there was no signs of Halibut or any other exotics. I think this is due to the south swell we just had and could have pushed the fish into deeper waters. There were some Halibut caught last weekend, that was just 4 days ago, at any rate that is my take on it. We put in a valiant effort today, we ended putting together a decent trip together and on a good note we did find a little bit of squid. We ended the day in deeper water and got limits of Rockfish and near limits of Lingcod for 20 anglers.
