Trout action was excellent on both lakes with anglers using power bait ( especially spring green, lemon twist and sherbet) inflated night crawlers, jigs and lures to catch limits. Lots of limits were taken again this week with many over three pound trout caught.?? Hot spots included the grassy point, eastern logged shore and the western shore of lake 3 as well as the northern, eastern and western shores of lake 2.

Catches of the week: Todd Sinn of San Bernardino used a pink combat jig to catch his 8 lbs 2 ozs rainbow on the northern shore of lake 2. Anthony Lujan of Chino scored a 6 lbs 13 ozs trout on lime twist power bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3. Eight year old, Vanessa Arrendondo of Riverside reeled in a nice 4 lbs 11 ozs rainbow on the grassy point using spring green power bait. Perris angler, Michael Moore caught a 3 lbs 4 ozs trout using a Thomas Buoyant on the eastern shore of lake 3. Ada Melendez of Fontana caught her 5 lbs 5 ozs trout on sherbet power bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 2. Mark Kristler of Rialto caught a 4 lb 3 ozs trout on a crappie jig near the inlet of lake 2. Fifteen year old, Kyle Contreras??of??Adelanto used a night crawler to catch his 5 lbs trout on the the eastern shore of lake 3.??Matt Pulver of Apple Valley caught a 6 lbs 3 ozs rainbow on a crappie jig with a power worm tail while fishing the grassy point of lake 3. Twelve year old, Gabrielle Zimmerman used a pink power worm and fished the northern shore of lake 3 to catch her 3 lbs 10 oz trout. Tom Walton of Montclair caught his 3 lbs 15 ozs trout on the western shore of lake 3 on a night crawler.
