Weather; It has been an unexpected fabulous weather during the last two weeks in the area, compared to years before that at this time of year regularly the north wind are very strong and sometime it does affect to realize the activities on the sea.

The temperature is still on the 70?? and the wind is moving from 6 to 16 miles by hr.

The fishing during the last few days has been based on catching practically Red Snapper, Sea Bass, Roosterfish, Trigger Fish, Sierra and Yellowtail.

Yellowtail; The captures of this specie was between the weight of 8 to 12 pounds and they got almost 2 to 4 pieces?? per boat only, considering that their season starts only few days ago, hopping that while the time goes by their size and abundance got better to have a successful season. The best area is on the east and north side of Coronado Island and also start capture on the Pulpito area 35 miles north of Loreto.

Sea Bass and Snappers, the best capture comes from east side of Carmen Island by the short line of the island.

Dorado; Some of them occasionally.

Roosterfish and Sierra Mackerel; Very good fishing on the morning at the local harbor.

Mackerel: Available on??Coronado or from Loreto, catching your own or buy it early morning at the marine, at the price of 10 pieces for $ 15.00 U.S. and 20 pieces for $ 25.00 U.S.
