Ixtapa Zihuatanejo Fish Report

Larry Edwards
According to Captain Temo Verboonen, the billfish are biting and cooperating very well with the anglers fishing from Zihuatanejo, and includes both, blue marlin and sailfish, along with a new infusion of quality dorado here and there. Temo said the offshore fishing regained it's momentum this past week and just gets better and better with the passing days. The inshore fishing was just so-s0 and had slowed up due to cold, green water along the coast. Still, the bigger jack crevalle and bonito continue to bite bu it just isn't near as good as it was and unfortunately, the roosterfish seemed to have vanished for now. Next weekend is the big XXXII International Fishing Tournament and we expect a big crowd for that special event. Stay uned for the report for that tournament event.
