This morning started out rather slow. We anchored a shallow in the dark and found no current. After daylight we moved and checked some shallow water areas picking up two small yellows and a short halibut (released). We returned to our original reef to find just a trickle of current and saw a nice ball of yellows. We waited them out for about 30 minutes before getting the first bite. Then they hit us and hit us hard. For the next two hours we had great fishing. Fish eating the surface iron, the live bait and the yo-yo jig. When the dust settled we had landed 85 nice yellows from 20 -30lbs. What a great way to end the trip.
Glenn Pamaran, gets the honors today. He took these two nice yellows while keeping all of the Shimano test gear in perfect working order. He is a great representative for Shimano and a joy to fish with.
We will be in tomorrow and tied up for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Tim will be back at the helm on Sunday for the " Let's Talk Hook Up" 12 day adventure.

Beyond that we have a great group of anglers and a very generous sponsor in Shimano. Gary Ishii displays a yo-yo caught...... Read More
