We finished our trip with a bang today. We had a ripper yellowtail bite where they ate everything in the water. When we had enough yellows, we left them biting. We are currently traveling towards home in flat calm weather, and will be in, in the morning.

Tim will be at the helm for our first 10-day trip of the season.

10/02/14 Today we worked up in good weather targeting yellowtail. We scratched at them from various areas throughout the day, but never got them to sustain a bite. By the end of the day we had put together a reasonable score, but still have the desire for a few more. We will be looking for a few more tomorrow. 10/01/14 We got off to a quick start today, with yellowfin biting early. As the morning progressed we mixed in a few wahoo and some yellowtail. When the fishing slowed down we had near boat limits of tuna, so we elected to move on and concentrate on other species. We searched for the afternoon in good weather and water conditions, unfortunately finding very little. Brian VanGundy proudly displays a wahoo caught this morning. Crewman Paul Caramao assists.
