As the world of Royal Star turns once again new summer opportunities have a way of coming to fruition. Requests for summer voyages of shorter duration have been a recurring theme over the past couple of seasons. We have been fortunate enough to have at least a couple of schedule changes each year to satisfy those inquiries. So, as of June 9th 2014, the latest change to our summer 2014 schedule is as follows:
Saturday August 23rd - Wednesday August 27th will now be a 4 day voyage priced all inclusive at $1595
Wednesday August 27th - Saturday August 30th will now be a 3 day voyage priced all inclusive at $1195
This schedule change comes at the disappointing loss of our annual Ouano/Garcia seven day charter. But the old saying "when one door closes another one opens" most definitely applies. And in this instance the one closing door actually opened two others. These new three and four day voyages are set to sail in the most perfect, prime time slot of the summer offshore fishing season imaginable. We are ecstatic as such looking forward to the opportunity to fish with many old friends and introducing new groups of anglers to the Royal Star experience.
In closing today I do want to urge those considering these voyages to call Tracy or I in the Royal Star office sooner than later. Tracy has compiled quite a list of anglers interested in such opportunities. We are in the process of contacting these individuals some of whom have already booked multiple reservations! Please give us a call if you are interested so we can add you to the list. We look forward to hearing from you!

6-9-201406/08/14 Not much to report today except lots of good water and improving weather as we worked down through some traditional bft grounds. With the offshore scene seeming to still be in a funk after last weeks blow we opted to call it a travel day and are presently headed for the Rocks. Hopefully with this great stretch of weather forecast the guys get back on them as we plan on finishing the trip back up here in the offshore grounds....... Read More

6/6/14 Begrudgingly I'm going to have to give this round to Mother Nature. Hog tied and tormented by relentless wind and seas offshore we passed a majority portion of this run waiting for the weather to abate. It didn't. And won't for at least another day. Such is the reality of fishing; fortunately a reality we rarely contend with in these proportions. While we do experience our share of unfavorable weather in the long range arena what is uncommon is for tough...... Read More
