Nice traveling today all the while looking as we passed through a long stretch of recently productive water. Aside from a few
better tuna late, and a few more handfuls of mini giants that we affectionately liberated, the sun completed it's arc and our
hatch remained almost empty. As this is the first of our fall voyages however we were not pinning our hopes on today at all.
This was a travel day more or less with anything found a bonus.

Tomorrow we stop and get down to business in earnest - if we find them of course. No complaints about the conditions; as
forecast seas are calm, winds are light, the world is right. With a little favor from the fish we'll see things as such
tomorrow, or even better.

10/5/13 Our 2013 summer offshore season segues into the fall without regret. By a wide margin this has been the best overall summer season, beginning in early June lasting all the way through the first few days in October, in many years; at least since 2004 or 2005. Between amazingly consistent, fantastic fishing for quality bluefin and yellowfin tuna offshore, and a harmonious tenor the best ever in my recollection, spirits are rightly soaring.
