Fish Report for 9-13-2013
09/11/13
Today we had bluefin tuna fishing at its best. The weather was flat calm, the
fish bit nails for a while and then settled in and we scratched steady for most
of the day. Another stop before sundown finished off our limits for this trip
and we mixed in a few yellowfin for variety. The bluefin averaged about 40 pounds
with our jackpot today weighing in at a hefty 69.2.
Today's shot is of a happy Sean Moriarty who got off to a slow start yet
finished strong with a handful of these nice tuna.

Our first drift was a long plunker that started at daylight on 40-50lb class fish and turned into 60-80lbers. We got on another school of 40=50lbers this afternoon that bit with reckless abandon until we left them to go home. I have to reckon...... Read More
