Pretty amazing what we are seeing in the way of this summer developing; the set up favors a late lasting season
similar to the last couple of years. The tip of the iceberg appears now to have arrived in the local offshore
grounds with significant signs of bluefin, yellowfin, and yellowtail extending almost two hundred miles south.

While there is no shortage of offshore clobbering occurring at present, the arriving four day led by Captain
Toussaint demonstrated such in astonishing proportion, come August and September opportunities will abound. In
reference to the coming glory I want to mention that we added a three day as well as a couple of 1 1/2 voyages in
the first week of September that are ideally poised to make the most of the offshore grounds during this time
frame. It is a great opportunity to jump on Royal Star for a quick run and experience the professional, elevated
standards distinct to our operation.

At present I am feeling very optimistic about the fishing at that point of the season. I know that we have plenty
of availability that is certain to disappear as this tremendous fishing for Bluefin continues. The dates and
details of the special added voyages are posted on our homepage in the "News" section. If one of the dates fits
your schedule give Tracy a call.

In the meantime south again we slide with a solid fleet of colleagues intent upon remaining on top of this bluefin
offshore. Prospects are good, the bait is perfect, and our anglers are ready. Now we will see how the fish feel
about things as we push into the upcoming full moon. Continuing reports will keep one and all abreast of happenings
on board Royal Star.

07/11/13 We hit numerous schools of medium to jumbo bft today, some of which put on spectacular shows. Unfortunately they were reluctant to bite and didn't want to stick with us. We managed to boat 13, most of which were 50-60lbs with 4 trophies from 120-140. Our weather is beautiful so we're staying offshore hoping they bite tomorrow. Today's shot shows Jim Grimes with his 142#, trophy bluefin. Randy Photo Here... ...... Read More
