Today the weather picked up a bit on the offshore grounds, but it didn't deter
the Bluefin tuna from biting even better today than yesterday. We caught them on
both bait and jigs, with a flylined sardine on 40 # fluorocarbon the rig of
choice. The fish again ranged from 25 to 65# with a good percentage from 40 to
50. With the wind and swell building we are heading to the inside and will be
fishing for both yellowtail and good weather.

Today's shot is of one of Royal Star's youngest veteran's. David Honadle Jr. is
is a very talented angler. He caught his personal best Bluefin today that
weighed in at 66 pounds.

The stop started with about twenty very quickly then settled into a classic plunker with one or two going. The fish ranged from 25 to 65 pounds.
