Boy did we wake up on them. Our bite started at 0445 this morning when we shut
down on a school that responded right away. A full speed bite ensued on the jigs
that continued through 0900 on the bait. One of the better night bites I've had
with free swimmers in the lights at times.
We put an impressive 75 aboard from 50-85lbs, nice way to finish.
We're travelong up in nice weather with a 0730 eta tomorrow, Capt Brian Sims
will be coming back out on a 7-day.
Len Cunningham is in the first shot with a 88lber while Brian Sims does the
honors for Steve Bellas in the second.

6-15-201306/14/13 Incredible sign of yt at the island this morning but it wanted no part of biting. When this fish settles in there will be some stellar fishing. The lockjaw yt prompted a move offshore where we gave the big fish area another try as we worked up the line. Not much to report but we did get into an area just before dark where we saw numerous schools; shut her down here hoping to wake up on them tomorrow. Randy ...... Read More

6/13/13 Tough scratching on the yellows today but it was a nice change of pace in great weather. Most of the fish were on the yoyo jigs and surface plugs making for fun angling. We're making a short move tonight and plan on fishing yellows tomorrow morning before venturing back offshore. Randy...... Read More
