We started off similar to yesterday with a grey bite that produced 25 bft from
50-75lbs in short order. Unfortunately this fish switched modes after the
morning hit with numerous stops on good schools producing only another handfull.
Anyone who has fished for bft knows that this is part of the game. Definitely
the most frustrating species we fish for, but that is why it is so rewarding when
you connect on them.
With the weather coming up we're heading into an island tonight for a change of
pace.
Crewmember Paul Caramao shows off the impressive average of this bft in today's
shot. Gene Berger landed this 60lber on 40lb.

06/09/13 Flat calm weather and good sign of mid grade bft that lived up to their reputation to start the trip today. We had several stops for zero to five fish for a final tally of 24 from 40-65lbs; not a bad start, but we always want more. We are relocating tonight in hopes of waking up on the bigger models.
