Good tidings from Royal Star as she steams up the line in the kind of weather that anglers who chose the easy button are glad to avoid. Capt. Brian Sims has kept the hammer down however maintaining decent speed to meet the scheduled Sunday morning 0900 ETA in San Diego. As of 1400 PST today the Royal Star ETA at Fisherman's Landing is 0945. For those anglers meeting the boat we look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

05/13/13 A school went through us at 0430 this morning and it was hot and heavy for a few minutes. Unfortunately they didn't stick around long, but it was a nice shot for ten fish 90-160 with one over 200. The puffers with a one ounce slider were the key to success.
