No matter what we do, it always seems like it is easy to lose perspective. After another day of seeing and catching a few big fish, we had a stop on biting 40-60lb fish. At first the thought crossed through our minds to leave and look for bigger ones but then we remembered that it was just four days ago we could only dream of catching these. We dropped down to sixty pound test and had a good time putting some of these aboard.

As far as the big ones are concerned, there could not be better news. As a fleet we all saw plenty of scattered sign which hopefully means that this could turn into a consistent thing. There sure is as good of sign of cows as we have seen before in the past.

For the day we ended up with 50 fish - a dozen of those were 150lbs or better. We had three fish over two hundred pounds topped by a monstrous 297lber landed by John Yarbrough.

Tomorrow we hope to be fortunate enough to have a few chances at the good ones again.
