We got off to an early start on the Baja Fish Gear / Larry Brown Charter, clearing the point with a beautiful load of bait at 0930. We are heading down the line with good weather forecast for the next few days. We spent the day leisurely putting together outfits and relaxing. In the late afternoon Ed Tschernoscha of Baja Fish Gear and Larry Brown held a giant raffle. They raffled off prizes for almost an hour and will continue tomorrow due to the sheer volume of SWAG for this trip.

It took until about 1600 hrs. to get the one engine dialed in. There were a few head scratchers involved, and a fair share of stress, but the majority of our consternation was resolved when the "smoking gun" we were all hoping to find did indeed manifest.
