Uneventful day prospecting up the line in spite of great conditions, the story of offshore 2010. We called it a trip early this afternoon and are traveling up in good weather with an eta of 0630 tomorrow. Brian will be back out on our annual Mitch Otera 6-day so look for his reports on the 22nd. Just what we were hoping for here at Cedros today, a nice scratch on 30-40lb yellows to fill out the limits. Fun angling with these big fish boiling around in glass calm conditions with the surface iron and flyline producing the bites. After enjoying dinner in the lee we are traveling up and plan to do a little prospecting offshore tomorrow to finish up the trip. Tom Lawrence shows off a 40lb yellow in today's shot.
