Our perseverance finally paid off here at Guadalupe today with good fishing on this quality tuna. It was a nice steady scratch from late morning on for a total of 62 fish from 50-75lbs. Had the resident tax collector not taken his thirty percent, we would have had a huge day. Hopefully today signaled a biting trend which should bode well for upcoming trips. Forty pound fluorocarbon rigs were the way to go but they did show signs of biting heavier gear on a few stops.

We are going to run up to the North end tonight where we plan on finishing up the trip targeting big yellows in the morning.
