Fish Report for 6-5-2009
I handed over the helm to captain Brian at San Martin this morning as halibut aren't exactly my area of expertise. It took him a while to get them located but once he did, we had a couple good drifts for 11 nice butts from 15-25lbs. We are presently enjoying a nice ride up and will be in tomorrow at 0800. Tim will depart again on a three day monday so look for his reports on Tuesday.

6-4-2009A decent day of prospecting the calm waters of Cedros for 40 yellows that we kept and several others released. Picture fishing in a lake but your catching 20 to 40lb yellows, that is the best way to describe this fishing here. Slow fishing here at Cedros today but the change of scenery combined with beautiful weather made for a nice day. We did manage to get one good drift for 20 30-35lb yellows that put on a good surface show which gives us hope for tomorrow. We are giving this one more day before continuing our northern trek.......
