Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

Today's photos feature another angler with whom I go way back to the early nineties fishing together on Royal Star. Don Franks made several voyages to the Revillagigedo's in the days of old as well as now as a participant of the Revillagigedo tagging project. Don's easy going style and affable demeanor make him a welcome addition to every voyage and his affinity for taking a sharing his photos is a bonus to everyone as well. Don always was a progressive angler who limited his take by releasing fish when he reached his personal goal way before the majority of anglers adopted this approach. As such, the Revillgigedo tagging voyage was a perfect fit for his style reflected in Don's every action during this voyage. My sincerest appreciation to Don for his participation and the many hours of good conversation we always share during these adventures.

Another round of maintenance shots before I return to the fishing format. I do want to bring the report on the 16th to everyone's attention as it was a few days late in being posted. It is now in it's proper order and features some more great fishing photos. In the meantime all is proceeding well and we are actually buttoning up a few major systems in preparation for our return to Fisherman's Landing on Monday. Photo Here... Photo Here... Photo Here... I am sending along a good bunch of photos detailing the installation process today and tomorrow for all to enjoy and appreciate. The combined ability and effort of us all really comes in play in these situations. In addition to the usual suspects of Randy, Brian, Sean, and I, I want to mention our good...... Read More
