Another uneventful yet productive day of travel dedicated to projects and rigging in preparation for our arrival in Cabo tomorrow and our fishing/tagging to come. All continues as planned with an estimated arrival time in Cabo San Lucas tomorrow of 1330 PST or 1430 Cabo San Lucas time. As reported yesterday we expect to anchor outside the harbor and forecast a Cabo departure time of between 1530 and 1630 PST providing all anglers and scientists arrive as expected. Look for tomorrow's report with a few more brief details as we expect to begin fishing at Isla San Benedicto around mid day.

Other than expressing our relief and gratitude that we were not traveling in the opposite direction, we don't have much to report today. The wind was huffing and puffing with accompanying twelve to fourteen foot seas that made for an exciting yet smooth ride surfing and skidding down swell faces while wallowing in the troughs between. Everything started off right with all our tanks jugged with perfect five to eight inch sardines that presently appear bullet proof as they settle in for the ride south. As we travel south over the next few days, we will be preparing our equipment for the big push to come as the inside Revillagigedo islands, San Benedicto, Socorro, and Roca Partida beckon with visions of grandeur to come.
