Royal Star

Our quest for tuna started off on the slow side as we were able to find them but not get them to bite. Just before lunch we got a good show and got a couple of handfuls. Our afternoon was more of the same. All show and no go.

We finished our day with some quality yellows, mostly 30-35 #. We will be prospecting offshore tomorrow.

Then we had steady fishing for 15-22# yellows till we had enough. All of this happened in great weather. What more could you ask for? We are currently switching gears and will be concentrating on tuna for the rest of the trip....... Read More
