Fish Report for 4-17-2008
After a flawless arrival and departure from Cabo San Lucas, we are underway again heading for the remote, desolate island of San Benedicto where we will arrive tomorrow afternoon to begin our tag and release fishing.
Everything is in order with a fantastic group of sixteen anglers ready to experience fishing action for giant yellowfin tuna and Wahoo that lives up to their dreams - especially during the past few nights. At the very least we hope to meet expectations, but better yet we hope to set the bar well beyond this group of angler?s imagination.
In the process we hope to deploy a healthy number of tags to continue the incredible success the Revillagigedo tagging project has boasted since February 2005. It's all up in the air at present and I will keep everyone informed as our fishing progresses.
Wish us luck if you are in our corner.
Thank you.

It looks like typical spring conditions along the entire coast as the California current and prevailing north westerly's keep the upwelling of cool waters alive. We did see a few good areas of yellowtail along the coast back on day one otherwise a few jumping bonito have been the highlight...... Read More

Not much to report today as we continued the long, slow, relaxing but tedious southerly journey tending to a few odds and ends while preparing the boat for fishing in the upcoming week. Reports from the outside zone below relate tremendous promise but we have much ground to cover, and many stones to overturn before we arrive in that zone. For anglers departing with us on Wednesday, April 16th please be advised that a marathon, three and one half hour...... Read More
