Royal Star Fish Report

Royal Star

Our '07' cow season officially started today with an afternoon for 16 fish, most of which were 100-190 with one at 235. We saw a lot of 200lb plus fish today but this bigger grade was reluctant to bite, hopefully this changes as the trip progresses. The gear of choice was straight 135lb with a 9/0 2004 Eagle Claw and a sardine. When we got on a stop they were very eager with fish boiling within feet of the boat, not the time for scratch gear. We are spending the night here enjoying beautiful and hoping for another good day tomorrow.

The signs of big fish were reported...... Read More
