Far from a big day, especially if one uses the amount of fish that goes into the hatch as the sole measure of success, but overall anglers had a good time catching and releasing the usual ridge variety while picking a few "skin" from the mix as well as a few noteworthy yellowtail and grouper. With what has become a relentless stretch of cruddy weather forecast to finally subside tomorrow, the guys are heading below to take their shot hoping to get the job done in a big way. Regardless of the setting, they will be searching for all they are worth tomorrow with anything worthy landed going directly into the "RSW" for consumption upon return.

Speaking of the "RSW", the product from our last voyage was off the scale on quality, with the entire catch unloaded in premium condition. As the years progress and our knowledge evolves, we are continung to perfect the process alowing us now to hold fish fresh for a safe miminum of at least eight days, even up to ten days when the catch is only large tuna. Needless to say these improvments are a huge bonus to Royal Star anglers who have come to cherish the quality fresh product that comes with every successful voyage. It requires tremendous effort on the part of our crew to produce such consistent, quality results, but the gratification when unloading a beautiful hatch of fish, and consuming the product ourselves, is second to none.

So, returning to matters at hand, we will report again tomorrow with what we have tremendous hopes will be a favorable offshore report. It is now in the hands of the fish gods so let us hope they are kind in yielding a ray of hope for us all.
