We began our day on the lower end of the beach in breezy, cold conditions that quickly transmitted the disturbing sense that if we were to catch anything, it would not be in this region. Of course I have felt this way on many occasions and unfortunately have ridden my instinct into the ground stubbornly denying the obvious while dropping and pulling the anchor like a yo yo.
