Fish Report for 10-29-2006
We finished up the trip here on the ridge this morning with good action on school tuna and 6 nice wahoo. We are presently enjoying a nice ride up the line with an eta of 0930 on the 31st.Tim will be departing on another 10-day Nov. 1st so his reports should resume on the 2nd.

10-28-2006Just what the doctor ordered here today to pull this trip out of the doldrums, wide open offshore wahoo action. Our first kelp this morning produced 43 fish and we continued to scratch the rest of the day for a total of 70. Very slow here at Alijos this morning on the tuna but thankfully we had a good night bite for forty 25-35lb yellows. By lunch time it was apparent that this tuna is officially off the bite again so we opted to go prospecting for kelps to the East. We found one kelp this afternoon for very good dorado action and a few others that produced a handful of wahoo. We did get to a nice warm water structure after dark...... Read More
