Royal Star

We pieced together a nice day on the big fish at Guadalupe, including one standout at one hundred eight pounds, but between a high loss percentage to Great Whites and sloppy working conditions we were ready for a move by day's end. Seeking variety and a change of pace, we took off for the inside just before dark thankful, at the very least, for the opportunities we did have at Guadalupe despite a significant number of factors working against us. It is safe to say that every angler had at least one opportunity at landing a trophy size yellowfin and a number of anglers had more than a few. With better working weather on the inside, and favorable information from several zones, tomorrow's effort will be dedicated to the pursuit of yellowtail.
