Fish Report for 9-10-2006
We finished up with a couple of handfuls of quality yellowtail and even threw in an ?extry? fifty five pound yellowfin tuna while catching yellowtail and Calico bass on one of the many shallow spots around the island?s famous north end. Although it was no barn burner, it was a nice, relaxing end to our fishing time before launching into the northward trek home. As reported, the weather was near perfect and made for a pleasant day of travel, ideal for celebration while reminiscing about the many good times had during the past four days. Tomorrow it is Capt. Brett Rouintree?s turn as Randy and I tend to a few matters shore side during the next five days. With plenty of yellowfin sign at Guadalupe, let us hope that the fish god?s will smile brightly on Brett and the annual Dennis Braid five day anglers next week.

With good enough signs and plenty of time, we plan to give this at least another day before considering a move...... Read More
