Fish Report for 8-11-2006
After a successful turn around the bar is again set high as Captain Toussaint returned from the previous Pacific Edge five day with a beautiful catch of mixed albacore, yellowfin, and yellowtail in premium, fresh condition. With any luck it will now be our turn as the setup continues to offer promise in several locations other than the far offshore zone that was producing limited albacore action for a lucky few boats. At present we are shying away from the Ferdinand Magellan route opting for a run down the line to focus on quality fish at the big island. With a beautiful load of bait and Mike Quezambra's fantastic group of five day anglers, we have all the tools in our favor to make a successful trip. Now, with a hand from the fish god's, we hope to do exactly that.

The tuna fishing was scratchy at best until 6:00 pm when they settled in and we were able to keep 3 to 7 going well into the dark. We are spending the night here and plan to give this at least one more full day....... Read More
