We started our annual Phillip's Steel four day in the local albacore zone today and enjoyed a nice scratch on beautiful 25-40lb fish. It was great when this fish bit full speed earlier this season but I must say that angling to get a bite like we did today was a lot more fun. By the way, the fluorocarbon leaders were lethal. Very good fishing on 15-20lb yellows made for a very nice day. We had our fill by early afternoon and started working our way back up the line and haven't yet decided where we're going to finish the trip tomorrow....... Read More
