Once again stark contrast is the offshore theme as the albacore so prolific yesterday all but disappeared today. If there is any one thing about this season I can pass to anglers on upcoming voyages it is the fact that when an opportunity arises, take advantage of the fact to the fullest extent as there is no guarantee on what awaits the following day.

That said, we appear to be in a common transitional phase that we have experienced many times at this stage of the season when fish from down below get on the move setting up for another good showing somewhere closer to home. The question of course is where and when and that is where our job begins. Employing our many years of experience and most importantly the combined effort of our extensive working group, we cover a tremendous amount of ground while searching for the best areas and conditions. It is safe to say that if the fish are around, it is only a matter of time before we find them. We just hope however that the matter of time doesn't extend beyond the scope of any particular voyage as we all know that our opportunities are only limited by then length of the trip we are on.
