Well, weather continues to be outstanding. We had flat seas today, clear skies and a very warm day. It was a perfect day for tanning, but that's not what we came down here for.

Fishing today was incredible, with Wahoo, Dorado, and Marlin, all putting on a great show. I've been working on the Royal Polaris for over 15 years, and I've never seen Marlin fishing like this. I'll bet we released over 80 Marlin today, all over the century mark, and a few Sailfish to boot. Wahoo fishing was also on the upswing, with a few large Dorado. Most of the Wahoo are in the 40 to 50 pound class, and the Dorado are in the 18 to 25 pound catogory. We ended up with 46 Wahoo and 20 Dorado, and who knows how many Marlin we released. All Marlin were released.

Roy made the decision to give this another day before we start making our way north. Some people dream of trips like this one. Some of our passengers have never seen a Marlin before, let along catch two or three in the same day. But that's fishing. So with that in mind, wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events. Until tomorrow, good luck and good fishing.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

Weather today was 12 to 15 knots of breeze, with very little sea, and clear skies. It was the prefect day for fishing. We arrived to our destination at 07:00 hours, and it didn't take long for the Yellowtail to start biting. It was a fair to good pick most of the day. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 15 to 18 pound range, with a few going over 20 plus. We also caught a handful of Grouper. We...... Read More
