Royal Polaris Sportfishing Fish Report 11-01-07

Weather today was 12 to 15 knots of breeze, with very little sea, and clear skies. It was the prefect day for fishing.

We arrived to our destination at 07:00 hours, and it didn't take long for the Yellowtail to start biting. It was a fair to good pick most of the day. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 15 to 18 pound range, with a few going over 20 plus. We also caught a handful of Grouper.

We did some trolling today, and for our efforts we managed a few Wahoo. We headed for Magdalena bay for bait, and after an hour of bait making, we pulled our lines in and started heading south.

It was very poor on the tuna grounds today, but we are hoping it was the weather that made the fish go down. But we will find out tomorrow. So with that in mind, wish us luck and we will report back to you tomorrow. The R/p crew.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

Roy talked about Wahoo fishing and what to expect once we arrive to Alijos rocks. There was a boat there a few days ago, but it was slow for them. Once the seminar was over, the crew went to work, making sure everyone was ready to do battle. After lunch most of our passengers were ready, so many took time...... Read More
