Fish Report for 1-25-2015

Cisco's still catching off-season Yellows and Bones

1-25-2015
Channel Islands Sportfishing

After yesterday's wind that limited the boats to fishing the coast, today it backed off enough to make it across the channel. Both the Gentleman and Cobra were out fishing around Anacapa Island and found themselves in yet another wide open bonito bite. Robert Torres from Redando was the lone angler on the Cobra that caught a Yellowtail. It was the last drop of the day and hooked the fish while retreiving his TadyAA quickly back the boat. Robert's yellow weighed in at 32lbs and took not only today's jackpot but the landing whopper of the week!
Captain Don on the Gentleman continues to pound the Sand Dabs while still finding time to catch Bonito. Fishing has been really good considering this is the "off season".

Today's Fish Count: 2 boats and 44 anglers
1200 Sanddab, 155 Bonito and 1 Yellowtail
