We are sure that there are many reasons why there aren't as many people booking trips this year. We would like to think that because everyone reading this is a fisherman, fishing definitely cannot be the reason. The wise angler knows that in order to experience the "bite", you have to book a trip and be there when it happens.
Today we fished the "Cow Zone" and had several stops during the day where there were 100lb+ tuna breaking around the boat. We boated over 80 fish in that 40 to 90 lb range, with 2 fish over 100lbs - our top angler today was Bill Randall with a 160lb Yellowfin Tuna.
What we saw today was excellent for things to come. In recent history, fish in the mid 100's haven't shown this early and this excites us for the rest of the Fall fishing season.
Today's picture shows one of our most experienced groups - as the majority of these anglers make this an annual trip - and so they are enjoying some of the finest fishing we have ever seen.
For those at home, we hope the humidity is high, the wind is calm and everyone is safe.
