Well Neptune and Mother-nature made up and the sea is calm once again. We had wonderful weather all day long. Clear skies, flat seas, and warm.

We arrived to Cedros in the early morning hour. Our passenger's had a fun full day fishing Yellow's the day before, so most did start fishing until the sun came up. After a hearty breakfast, we pulled the anchor and started looking for Yellowtail. It didn't take long before the Yellows found us. We had quality Yellows boiling around the boat. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 25 to 30 pound catogory. I guess you could say today was a good day.

We had some Sardines left over, so we would try our luck at Halibut. After a few shorty's were landed, we started catching a few legals. We would catch 9 legals up-to 25 pounds. We did hook a few larger one's, but they you would win there freedom back to the sandy bottom of Cedros. We had an excellent day of fishing at Cedros island.

Once the sunset, we pulled the anchor and started heading north. We will give our passenger's a try at some Rock-cod tomorrow morning for a few hours, then head for San Diego. So with that note I will close for now. Until tomorrow, wish us luck, and we will keep you posted. The R/p crew.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

We arrived to the fishing grounds around 09:30 hours, and it didn't take the Yellow's long to start biting. We had limit style fishing, and now we are headed to Cedros Island and try our luck at some larger Yellowtail. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 12 to 15 pound range....... Read More
