Hello everyone;

Well the fall season is upon us. Weather today was just gorgeous, with flat seas, clear skies, and very warm days. With great weather what more could you ask for.

It's early October, what more could you ask for. Excellent Yellowfin fishing. That's what I said. We had an excellent day of Yellowfin tuna fishing. With most of the fish in the 65 to 80 range, and we are seeing fish over 175 pounds. The out look for the fall season looks great. So if you haven't made your reservation yet, it might be a bit to late.

Our morning started early with a handful of fishing coming aboard. But as the day went on, the fishing just got better. We caught fish on the kite, fly-line Sardine, sinker rigs, Flying Fish, Iron. There is so much life down here right now, it really looks good for upcoming trips. We have another boat in the area, and they are seeing just as much action as us. This is early for the fish this year, and we don't know what to expect on the inner banks, once we start fishing that far south. It could be another banner year.

We will give this another day, before we have to start working our way home. We will try to get some bait tonight in Magdalena bay. We tried an area tonight, but the bait didn't cooperate with us. We are hoping for another good day, before we have to start making our way back up the line. Now this is what the doctor order.

So until tomorrow, wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events. The R/p crew.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

Well, now I've seen everything. After a slow morning, we departed the area and started back to Alijos rocks. About 100 miles from the rocks, it pops up. Eddie with his eagle eyes found it. It was a large white object. As we came closer to it, the water turned to gold. It was a freezer and it was loaded with Dorado. We did battle with the beauties of the sea for about 30 minutes, then they just stop biting,...... Read More
