Monterey Bay Fish Report 09-18-07

Bayside Marine

The fishing for Rockcod and Lingcod was good for the few anglers who fished today. The best bet is to work the area near Ano Nuevo until it closes down on Sept 21. The inshore fishing was good near Davenport for Halibut anglers last week. The Albacore was great but the wind looks like it will be up for a few days. Maybe the wind will be good on Friday or Saturday but a few anglers may try in the morning. There are some Salmon being caught on the inside in 100 feet of water near Natural Bridges. I fished in Puerto Vallarta for 3 days and the big Yellowfin are there for sure. We ended up with a 335 pound Yellowfin, 450 pound Blue Marlin, and a bunch of Dorado. The fish are showing up and it is a good time to go. Let me know if you want to try for some Cow Yellowfin and I will set you up!
