Henry's Fork Fish Report
12-8-2014
Mike Lawson
Winter has definitely come to Henry's Fork Country. During the months of December and January it isn't practical to post a current fishing report. That doesn't mean there isn't plenty of opportunity to find good fly fishing if the weather is favorable. Conditions won't change much through the cold winter months so this fishing report is designed to share our expectations for this time of year. We will be posting a fishing report once a month through the winter months of January, February and March to focus on winter midge fishing opportunities over the next few months. I will be out fishing each month focusing on the Lower Henry's Fork around the St. Anthony area and will post results in our monthly blog as well as our Facebook Page. We will be covering different techniques, proper gear, midge patterns and how to keep your rod ice free to enjoy those beautiful winter days on the river.
